Nigel Waller
Founder and CEO
Nigel combines a keen interest and deep understanding of the telecom software space with over 22 years of experience in emerging and mature markets worldwide. He is passionate about delivering the benefits of technological innovation to end-users and the social economic benefits this can bring about and has worked closely with over 200 service providers to implement solutions that deliver subscriber growth and generate lasting loyalty. Nigel's ability to understand and clearly communicate complex technical issues, coupled with an appreciation of the emerging markets business and market dynamics, enable him to support operators in delivering solution to people in need.
Prior to Movirtu, Nigel worked with leading blue chip companies such as Bharti Telesoft, Glenayre, Schlumberger, Sema Group and Nortel and start-ups such as RateIntegration. In these companies he held a number of senior executive positions having lived in various emerging market countries and gained extensive international experience in Sub-Sahara Africa, Middle East, South Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Nigel holds a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Association for Project Management, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He sits on various Boards including the International Association for Enhance Voice Services and is a Non-Executive Director for MBR Partners.

Dennis Dijkstra
COO
As Chief Operations Officer Dennis is in charge of sales, project operations and support. Dennis has over 25 years of engineering experience across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has shown his skills in sales, operations and project managerial roles on over 60 wireless voice and data projects across the region involving mobile operators and network equipment vendors.
Prior to Movirtu, Dennis worked in senior sales, project management and technical operational roles such as VP Sales EMEA and Technical Operations Director EMEA and South America at IP Unity Glenayre, Toshiba, Philips and the South Africa Broadcasting Corporation.
Dennis has an Degree in Telecom Engineering from Hoge Technische School Amsterdam and an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
John Davies
CTO
John has 38 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. John has been successful in technical and managerial roles for both large and small companies including the Information Technologists Company, MobileAge Technology, Sema Group, Orange UK, Hutchison Telecom and as a freelance consultant and trainer. At Sema Group he was thier representative to the ETSI and 3GPP standards groups. John also does voluntary work for IT4Communities and has worked in the International Secretariat of Amnesty International, assisting both the East Africa Team and IT Department.
John has an MSc degree in Computer Science from Manchester University and a BEng Degree in Electronic Engineering from Liverpool University. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the British Computer Society.
